“For the past few months, the REVERT team at Obex Technologies has been developing software for the Hydrocephalus Management Portal, which will bring together onto a digital platform the many elements of the normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) patient pathway.
Scoping meetings with key partners have helped enormously to develop the project brief and detail the requirements of individual elements. Interesting discussions have included infusion study outputs with the Brain Physics Laboratory scientists (Prof. Marek Czosnyka, Dr Zofia Czosnyka and Dr Peter Smielewski), PC-MRI flow curves with Dr Balédent at the University of Picardie Jules Verne, and hydrocephalus referral pathways with clinic coordinator Rebecca Reece at Cambridge University Hospitals.
As the various datasets are drafted, we start building the all-important user interface to allow interaction with the portal software. It won’t be long until beta versions of some of the Portal elements go live, when we can look forward to receiving feedback from the REVERT project experts.”
