Multidisciplinary hydrocephalus and CSF disorders clinic to launch at Cambridge University Hospitals

“We are delighted to announce our specialist multidisciplinary clinic for cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) disorders, established as part of the REVERT project. The clinic, held at Addenbooke’s Hospital and led by Mr Alexis Joannides, will involve the wider REVERT clinical team which we are progressing with recruiting. This will include a nurse consultant, clinical psychologist and physiotherapist, thus enabling a one-stop comprehensive assessment for patients with CSF disorders, and in particular normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH). In parallel to this, we have made good progress with establishing a robust infusion study protocol and clinical process and anticipate our REVERT technician to be in post over the next few weeks, working closely with the Brain Physics Laboratory at the University of Cambridge.”
