The Neurosurgery Department of CHU Caen provides care for all cranial and spinal neurosurgical pathologies of the entire Lower Normandy region and the surrounding geographical areas. The team is committed to providing the population with quality care and up-to-date standards of the most modern techniques. The Department has 50 hospital beds.
The Neurosurgery Department is affiliated with the University of Caen Basse-Normandie and offers a postgraduate training programme in Neurosurgery developed on the basis of European standards in partnership with one of the largest neuroscience research centres in France, Cyceron.
